Leo Lamontagne

Leo Lamontagne grew up dancing at his mom’s studio, North Andover School of Dance. In high school he also danced at Jeannette Neill Dance Studio, as a member of Boston Youth Moves & Ace Entertainment.

He went on to earn a Bachelor of Science in Communication, majoring in Dance, from Northwestern University. While there, he founded and directed the university’s first and only tap dance company, TONIK Tap. After graduating from Northwestern, Leo danced professionally with Jump Rhythm Jazz Project in Chicago performing and teaching across the country.

In 2007 he received an Emmy Award in the category of Outstanding Achievement for Individual Excellence On Camera as a performer for his work in the documentary Jump Rhythm Jazz Project: Getting There.

He is a graduate of The Dance Teachers’ Club of Boston’s Dance Education Training Course, and the recipient of The Dance Teachers’ Club of Boston Award and the Mary Jane Brown Award for Excellence in Teaching Tap.

Leo is now the Director at North Andover School of Dance. He resides in Andover with his wife, Meghan and their son Rudy.

Lindsey Klein

Lindsey Klein is a Boston-area dance educator and performer with a background rooted in jazz performance and professional entertainment. A graduate of the University of the Arts in Philadelphia with a BFA in Jazz Performance, Lindsey’s performing career has included work with the Walt Disney World Company and Norwegian Cruise Line.

Lindsey has dedicated much of her career to dance education, serving as an adjunct professor at Dean College in Franklin, Massachusetts for seven years and currently as an Associate Professor at Boston Conservatory at Berklee, where she is entering her fifth year. She also is a teacher/choreographer to her home dance studio Patti Eisenhauer Dance Center.

As an educator, Lindsey strives to create an inclusive and supportive environment where every dancer feels seen, respected, and comfortable being themselves. Her teaching philosophy centers on creating a space where dancers feel safe enough to take risks, challenge themselves, and grow both artistically and personally. She believes that a positive classroom environment, combined with high expectations and thoughtful guidance, allows dancers to develop confidence, individuality, and a genuine love for their craft.

The Dance Teacher's Club of Boston and The American Society is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization.
