***Inclusive Dance: Leading with curiosity and empathy to foster belonging with Carli DiMeo ***This interactive course invites educators to identify, challenge, and reshape their perspectives on what it means to be a dancer, how physical and emotional disability show up in the dance studio, and adaptive teaching practices. This course will provide the tools to support all students participating in dance regardless of their background experiences or disabilities. By working with participants to ask questions, be curious, and open their minds to different ways to approach dance and challenges in the dance classroom: inviting dance educators to try new ways to teach that include all of their students while meeting the needs of their studio and creative goals.
